Building Colour Consultancy

Living Colour Studio residence

In today's busy world, people are increasingly aware of the benefits of a home which provides a comfortable, nurturing and supportive haven from the rigours of everyday life.

Businesses are taking more notice of how their environment and premises are presented to customers, staff and the general public. They know that first impressions go a long way towards success, and that a warm, welcoming environment helps generate ongoing business.

We know colour. We know how it can be used to bring a building to life, and to inspire and support those who live or work there. Frequently, a house or business is 'made over' by the purchase and inclusion of new furniture and/or accessories. But a simple change in the colour scheme—literally a coat of paint—can breath new life into a building, and at a fraction of the cost.

There are no differences any longer in what colours are acceptable in homes, and not in offices—or vice versa. The differences lie in lighting, and how colour works in a smaller or larger space. The current popularity of television shows on renovating have had an enormous impact in enlivening the sense for colour, and show that people are taking a much greater interest in their living environment.

Research has shown that colour impacts upon the concentration and productivity of office workers, and that colour influences the perception of temperature in a space—so a grey office, grey computer, grey blinds aren't helpful for workers' wellbeing, or for productivity.

Let us show you what a difference colour can make in your home or office.
