The Brief
Accountant Craig Lawson refurbished this building to create business premises for his accountancy business as well as for financial planner David Webb of Professional Investment Services Pty Ltd. Exterior colours needed to reflect the corporate image and business card.
Interior carpet, laminates and furniture colours were required as well as artworks which would create visual interest for his clients and add vibrance to the offices, waiting room and corridor.
Colour Selection Criteria
Aluminium shop windows and door and the long corridor with offices along one side dominates the eyelines of all clients entering the space. The carpet dictated the feature wall colours which form the entire eastern side of the building. Artworks to be hung on each of these walls.
The Kimberley Series watercolours by Catherine van Wilgenburg were chosen by Craig to complement the building and to create visual interest and love of West Australia in his clients.
