The Como Hotel, South Yarra

The art of Catherine van Wilgenburg places colour in the centre of the total environment.
The works are about the language of colour itself – how one red speaks in textures and gestures differently from another red. It’s these differences in the way in which yellow or red are worked that forms the image.
This commission was developed in conjunction with the architects and interior designers at HPA Architects, Mirvac for the Como Hotel, South Yarra, Victoria.
