About Living Colour Studio

Living Colour Studio is an Architectural and Visual Art practice. We create enlightening environments through environmentally sensitive architecture, art commissions, and building colour consultancy.
Architectural design and colour work together to animate a building like the body and the breath. We work with individuals and groups to establish the function of the space and the shapes and colours to bring it to life.
We put people first. We focus on their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing. A building has the function of protecting and enhancing the wellbeing of the people who use it. Sensitivity to the use of surfaces, textures and materials for the health and wellbeing of those who enter the space is an important consideration in our designs.
At Living Colour Studio we:
- respect the spirit of the land
- identify personal needs
- incorporate the technology within the whole building
- site the building to enhance the site
- align the inner life of the building with the outside
- use the power of colour to provide a harmonious environment and food for the soul
- maximise natural light to feed body and soul
